Pris & Jon's BD celebration!!!
I'm sorry.. i've missed this out!!!
Went to celebrate Pris and Jon's BD on 29/10/2009.
The food was fantastic as always.. this japanese restaurant and orchard plaza... has become one of our regular joints...
Didnt' manage to take some of the dishes cos the food was simply too delicious...
We had sake as usual.. the rest... i think the pictures speaks for itself.. check this out!!!
For starters... we had this delicate cuisine...
actually...its fish sperms..i hate it.. yucks...
other than that.. its was fine galore...

Starbucks and Uniqlo
Amongst many other activities... Starbucks was giving away free coffee in the light of the spirit of giving and also salvation army..
Well free drinks on the 3rd December starting from 5pm...
We left the office at around 5.45pm to check if the queeue was long over at the capital tower outlet.. it was raining rather heavily.. and it was getting chilly!!!
there was a really long queeue from where we were standing.. so we decided not to q.. and juju decided to go look for her hubby at raffles place..
but as me and hd and yan and ah hoon got closer..the drinks queeue wasn't that long..so we queeued... hehe...
Apparently, we can order whatever drink we wanted and it was on the house... of cos the peeps from salvation army would bring aroudn the trademark red tin for donation..
so all in all ...we paid $2 each for a free drink at starbucks..it was fun!!!
Last week, the CST girls and ah hoon also went to uniqlo!!!! saw a winter jacket that looked fantastic..

CST activities...
Introducing the brand new CST members!!!! lalalala.
These days... our CST activities have been overwhelming!!!
I can already list down the things we've done in the month of november!!!
On the 5th of november... we went out with ah hoon to go celebrate xiao yan's birthday... we had lotza fun that day.. first we went to tung lok signature to have dinner.. i love the soon hock nodles there... just lovin' it.. that is the only soup i drink besides their signature chick soup... we ordered half of the soon hock fried and the other half not fried... SPLENDID!!!

We were quite sure not to fill up so fast as we were going to party world to sing k later..
It was so fun... me and ah hoon were dancing around the room... and making merry!!! so happy.. and we sang and we sang and we sang!!! HAHAHAHA
The next day was a division chalet.. and all 4 of us went.. felt a little bad i couldn't keep them company as i was busy fighting over the mj table..
That weekend was a very tiring weekend for me.. i practically slept my weekend away..
I had to "THON" whole night at the chalet and had to rushed to Collin's place the next day..cos his 2 sons full month bd party!!! had to be able to make it cos everybody's ang pow money with me..damn stressed...
The following week... we had our CST massage session at ultimate SPA to celebrate yan's bd also!! i didn't really feel anything cos i fell asleep half way through the massage... apparently.. i was snoring too tired..

Bought prezzies for HD... this is a photo of her and me.. the present looks so big... she looked like she's hugging a big teddy bear... :)
Went to crystal jade palace with CST girls on the 30 nov... so nice the food esp. desert and the steam eggs!!! but too hungry to take photo!!!!
all in all the month of november was good..
This saturday going to juju's house for steamboat.. i must remember to take my camera and take more photos!! YAY YAY YAY!!!!

SO fast... i have not been blogging...
these days i've been busy with my new.. CST mates... facebooking (aka farmville, fishville and cafe world) also... i've been in contact with one of my uni mates.. winnie..so it is now back to spending time at holland village and mr bean cafe at selegie.. I like sitting down with her... and talking..even if we don't talk at times.. just sitting at cafe sipping on our coffee is good enuff. These days she introduced me to this new kopitiam at bukit timah.. We sort of gave up on west coast mac because its jammed pack all the time. I didn't know bukit timah has kopitiam.. but i swear.. this 24 hours kopitiam is the best place to chat and chill. Nobody bothers about us.. but we had to tolerate the uncles with their portable dvd players playing " wa meng ti...wa meng ti".... aiyoh...
So yah... last night she brought me to this new prata place in clementi... i've not been to that part of clementi before.. but the banana prata is simply...sedap!!! best... nap shot...even though i only had one mouthful.
Excuse me.. but i'm sort of like tracing back my life here..so this entry's gonna have alot of flash backs!!! i'm looking at my organiser as i'm typing here so that i don't miss out any shitz...
So last weekend.. i didn't do much!!!i played mj at nick's place at miltonia ave.. miltonia ave is actually in Yishun.. wah biang.. i didn't know yishun has such a high class name for a street... luck no good.. lost $150.000 tamade!!!! plus the taxi rides and the food.. about $200.00 gone!!!! lalala..
i finally got back to boon heng's place at around 430am.. after sending ah bel and cheryl home in nick's car (the guy was nice enough to drive us back) even though he also lost.. met his girlfriend when we were playing Mj... she's sweet!!!!
Saturday.. i slept till 4.30pm.. he was nice enough not to scream at me.. he not only went down to chongpang and got my fav ramli burger and also XXL fried chicken cutlet (taiwan style, he also paid for my losses for the night before.. i ate and then lazed around on the bed for abit.. the man friend was being extremely nice and just let me lay around for abit without nagging at me to go bathe.. (we were supposed to go out later that night to meet his friends for a "short" drink... i quote) i finally went to bathe at around 6 plus.. but when i came out from the bathroom..they were actually showing "HOOK" on HBO... Hook brought back some memories of my childhood when i was watching it.. i remembered that it was one of the many shows my dad brought us to watch. I remembered very clearly that i went to orchard cinema (the now cineleisure) to watch it. Also remembered my dad telling me that this was the first cinema in singapore that had escalators... wow..so kewl!!!i also vaguely remembered staring at the lifesize poster of "hook" by steven speilberg!!! wow!!!! so he continued to let me finish the movie while he went out for drinks.. and erm.. i joined him much later!!! we had supper at macdonald's.. i know..unhealthy.. but it was so good.. i love having fillet o'fish for supper..must the the soury taste... !!! i tried to convince to take the teppanyaki chicken burger.. but he wouldn't... oh well.. his loss.. he needed to go do a big one in the toilet right after our meal (as always) so we couldn't linger around much.. but we did stop by shop and save.. and he bought me a big box of magnum..my fav.....
we called it an early night as there was nothing interesting on cable.. and before we slept.. we made plans and discussed what we were going to have for breakfast... ok ok ok ..lunch the next day... i knew that i hadn't spent much time with him..so i made it a point to set my alarm for 9am the next day..to make up for lost time.. maybe i could surprise him by going down early to get breakfast... i thought to myself..
But by the time i opened my eyes the next sunday.. it was already noon.. he had woke up earlier and de-activated my alarm.. orh.. sweet yah!!! but still.. i didn't spend time with him that sunday.. i had called my mum and she told me to meet her and dad in orchard at 2.30pm.. he was gracious about it and i had left...
Reached orchard at around 3.30pm.. i was so suprised at its transformation.. not about the christmas lights of cos.. but of the shopping centres... my gawd...
the mandarin gallery was now opened.. and they had a few shops there.. i gazed up onto the second level.. and i saw bathing ape opening soon..!!! yay yay... Bathing ape is the jacket brand.. my kimura takuya wore in HERO.. ya know.. the one leather one that made him look liek a brown marshmellow!!!
Went to sommerset 313!!! nice place and so convenient!!!! went to uniqlo straight away.. had to queeue about 15 mins to get into the place.. so crowded... wanted to get my cardigan at $9.90.. but they were only left with the black and the grey one. .so i grabbed the black... bought another jacket that works 2 ways.... fleece on the top and fur on the other layer...
I saw this white down trench coat that looked really cool... but it made me look like a giant marshmellow!!! so i decided against that...
hmmmz... didnt' have to queeue long to pay and that was good..
Went to charles and keith and got a pair of shoes.. i like.. then we went home... and da pao 5-star chicken rice on our way home... nice!!!! :)

Once upon a milkshake!!!!
Simply the best. I chanced upon a write up on this new joint in 8 days while sitting on my toilet bowl!!!
Finally had the opportunity to walk to maxwell chambers (formerly known as whitehouse)with yan mei yesterday..
The decor was beautiful... it had a purple and white finish..
I love the colour purple..so unisexual so soothing... it was a really good lunch break!!!!

Yes.. i know.. i'm 27
Haven't been blogging for ages.. have been so busy...and now that elvis is back...
*shakes head* where do i begin.
Dynn is leaving for china for good tonight... I'm genuinely really happy for her.. yay... even though i'm gonna miss her.. cos she's probably the only one that really understands my man-problems.. cos her man and my man.. probably came out from the same mould in the same factory.
I need to blog about my 27th bd celebration.. it has been a long, enjoyable and terribly tiring 2 weeks..but i've survived it..
I will write down in details what i've done and where i went in my next entry...
For now.. i just wanna say this..
I was strolling down from tj pg to raffles place..and was making my way to boat quay.. and was cutting across UOB plaza..when i heard a familiar sound...
The sounds of a brass band warming up.. i heard the round and rich sounds of a trombone.. and the deep mellow sounds of the tenor/baritone sax... and i suddenly felt nostalgic.. i remembered not tooooooooooooo many years back.. i belonged to a group like this too.. it felt good listening to familiar sounds again.. and as a slight breeze blew.. i smiled and thought to myself... life is good.!!!!!

weekend!!!
Didn't do anything spectacular over the weekend.
Had mahjong session with Marge's group at irene's place.. lovely hand!!! got everything i wanted and was the overall winner... $130!!! yay yay!!!
Last Thursday.. when i played at collin's house.. i was also the overall winner..and won $130.
After a late game on Friday night.. went back to love's house.. he was already sleeping!!! so i sort of tiptoed out of the room and went to pom pom!!! tiptoed back into the room and continued reading harry potter and the deathly hallows with the lights off and with the torch light turned on!!! was getting really sleepy due to insufficient reading light.. so went to sleep at about 4am...
Woke up at about 2pm on saturday afternoon..
Love had already gone out and bought my fav kway chap from chong pang market.
Took my kway chap and my usual kopi peng.. and went back to the room to laze abit... continued reading my harry potter book... and love dozed off... then i also dozed off.. so tired... haven't had enough sleep for the past 2 days..cos of mj sessions!!! haha..
An old friend sms-ed me... winnie.. i missed her... and asked if i wanted to meet.. we have not been talking for the past 2 years due to some misunderstandings.. which was actually my fault.. by anyhows... went to Mr bean cafe.. at selegie.. one of my fav joints.. and then we chatted and chatted...
After that..went to pick Dynn and jessica up at ION cos they were working at the branch that night... went down to bishan park to meet the guys....
Love was at AMK with another bunch..but subsequently came down to meet us.. It was just like old times.. and i loved every minute of it!!!
Went back to love's place after that.. and continued reading my harry potter book!!! fell asleep at about 4 plus..
Love was talking in his sleep..and started scolding me and accidentally hit me in the face.. was so mad at him... wanted to wake him up..when he let out a huge and smelly silent fart... YUCKS!!!!!! SAI SAI SAI!!!
When i told him the next day.. he looked so apologetic.. hugged me and kissed me the whole time.. telling me sorry!!! ah... whateva!!!
woke up at around noon!!! we were both 2 lazy to go down and da bao!!!! i thought it would be good to play mahjong... so i asked winnie if she was interested.. she say ok.. so i jio another 2 kah and we went to ah khoo's place for mj!!!
Game was supposed to start at 7pm so me and love... went down for a late lunch at about 3pm... I dunno if its cos the weather..but love got really hot and bothered.. when i mentioned to him that i needed to borrow chips from either marge/mere for the game..
He doesn't see why ...everything has to be so mafan.. cos he says..can play using cash!!! of cos i know can play using cash..but very troublesome..cos in the first instance... where got so many small change?? biang... he was really really mad at me... cos he say i very ma fan.. and say..maybe he treat me too well..so now i dare to raise my voice back at him.. fuck lah!!! you mean...i'm not entitled to my own opinion issit??
Anyway.. i didn't wanna bother with him...cos i don't want him to spoil my mood.. not especailly when i'm playing mahjong later... i think..sometimes.. he does these things on purpose!! shit...
So Winnie came to pick us up at around 6 plus.. got to ah khoo's house..then started playing.. i was really lucky and was winning close to $300 when love suddenly said he wanted to play... then when he started playing... down all the way until only left $150...so angry!!!! and then i had to pay him $50 for the beer that he bought.. cos i was the sole winner!!! angry angry!!! but..aiyah.. nvm lah!!! all had fun!!! HEHE

woke up at around noon!!! we were both 2 lazy to go down and da bao!!!! i thought it would be good to play mahjong... so i asked winnie if she was interested.. she say ok.. so i jio another 2 kah and we went to ah khoo's place for mj!!!
Game was supposed to start at 7pm so me and love... went down for a late lunch at about 3pm... I dunno if its cos the weather..but love got really hot and bothered.. when i mentioned to him that i needed to borrow chips from either marge/mere for the game..
He doesn't see why ...everything has to be so mafan.. cos he says..can play using cash!!! of cos i know can play using cash..but very troublesome..cos in the first instance... where got so many small change?? biang... he was really really mad at me... cos he say i very ma fan.. and say..maybe he treat me too well..so now i dare to raise my voice back at him.. fuck lah!!! you mean...i'm not entitled to my own opinion issit??
Anyway.. i didn't wanna bother with him...cos i don't want him to spoil my mood.. not especailly when i'm playing mahjong later... i think..sometimes.. he does these things on purpose!! shit...
So Winnie came to pick us up at around 6 plus.. got to ah khoo's house..then started playing.. i was really lucky and was winning close to $300 when love suddenly said he wanted to play... then when he started playing... down all the way until only left $150...so angry!!!! and then i had to pay him $50 for the beer that he bought.. cos i was the sole winner!!! angry angry!!! but..aiyah.. nvm lah!!! all had fun!!! HEHE

A day spent with LOVE
Today wasn't like any other ordinary saturday... Most saturdays were spent lazing around at Love's place... waking up in the afternoons... popping over to marge's place for a few rounds of Mj...
Today was a good few hours of solid company with my love... <3<3<3
Woke up at around 2pm... ah lao asked me if i was interested to watch Ice Age 3 in 3D at Cathay AMK Hub.. said that the movie was at 5pm... This is the problem with him... we never plan outings..cos he doesn't wanna agree and then break his promise..So everything was a little bit of an impromptu!!
He actually wanted to by Kway Chap for lunch..but his mom cooked.. and i guess he knew that i don't particularly fancy his Mum's teochew porridge so..he suggested that i eat out..while he finished that entire pot of muay!!! yucks!!
So we got ready and bathed... and took 812 to khatib MRT... it was scorching hot... even though it was already 4 in the noon... we saw the pasar malam at khatib central...and that big Ramli Burger sign... woo...craving!!!!
So we went to get that... sat outside khatib station...while i devoured the entire burger.. it was simply too good!!!!
By the time we got to AMK hub it was closed to 5... i regretted not booking the tix online..cos by the time we got to the box office... there were only the front 2 rows left!!! crap!! but we took it anyway..didnt' know that 3D movies were more expensive then the normal priced movies... $13 per pax... but it was well worth it...
Its not that i've never been to 3D movies before... i remembered vaguely that i once set through a 3D sorta show in movie world in Australia back when i was 11.. it was good but not that great... I also vaguely remembered one trip that i made to the Omni Theatre at science centre for another one... but none as good as the ones from Dolby...
It was so real... to the point of being surreal!!!! i thought i could literally touch the animals and the snowflakes.. it was great.. and i never felt a tinge of headache...
So anyway... after Ice Age 3, we went down to pepper lunch for dinner... Ah lao never try pepper lunch before... so he was quite onz about it... i had my usual hamburger steak with rice..while ah lao tried the sukiyaki set which was going at a discounted price of $9.90!!! even had ice cream included in the set.. We tried to black sesame ice cream.. so nice.. they sprinkled alot of sesame seeds on top... woo woo!!!
We pretty much didn't have anything to do after that so decided to watch another movie.. HAHA... this time.. watched The Murderer...Critics gave it 5 stars..so we thought..what the heck.. just watch lah!!! anyway.. there's eye candy Aaron kwok in the show... now... before i go any further..let me just described to you how beautifully flawless Aaron's face is...even at the age of 40+.. he is freaking delicious... hahaha.. see picture for evidence.
Ok..now..back to the show... IT SUCKED REALLY BIG TIME!!!!!
Please do not read on...if u're thinking of watching the show.. cos i can't help but to tell u that the murderer turned out to be aaron's 8 year old son!!! Whah whah whah!!! i know.. i felt like banging my head against the wall at that point then and there!! wah lau..what a fucking waste of money!!!
After the movie, we were left dumbfounded and decided to go meet some friends at S11 coffeeshop near AMK hub... had a few beers... took a cab back to yishun with him and had supper at chong pang Mcdonald's!!! yay.. the wasabi fillet o' fish is baack... together with teh sahker fries!!! wah lau.. my favourite..
All in all.. it was a really good date..cos i hardly spend so much time with ah lao..outside before!!!
I got home... and didnt' want to sleep.. so i surfed the net for abit..was tv for a bit.. and finally fell asleep at 7am in the morning!!! SHucks!!!! need to get more sleep..so won't get breakout!!! hahaha

beautiful foods @ Tung Lok Signature
Had wonderful dinner at Tung Lok, my all time fav din din joint, with Adrian and Gary. My brothers from different mothers/fathers!!!
I have to do it justice by explaining each and every dish... I should have done it with all my other Tung Lok escapades.. but i guess.. particularly in the company of adrian... i tend to pay more attention on being a cam whore!!!! *snickers*
OK!! First Up... The Starter Platter. Beautiful representation of east meets west...
Lobster propped right on top of a huge tower of a radish... The starter platter consists of 4 individual starters with 4 distinct unique tastes. We had to eat them in order accordinly..
A :
Succulant sweet lobster meat (from the lobster propped on the radish) wraped with juicy watermelon plus a tinge of tangy sour sauce. the combination was heaven
B :
Fois Gras wrapped with thin crepe (supposedly to represent bread in our local "kong bah pau") also just beneath the Fois Gras, a thin layer of crispy yam... to mull over the salty taste our our goose liver.
C :
Deep fried crab claw... this one was quite ordinary....
D :
Last but not least... quil eggs broiled to a japanese ramen egg perfection. The yolk was not too hard..and not too soft.. nestled in a nest made of yam.. and thinly shredded cucumber that acted as hay.. PERFECT..

After that... we had my soupy love claypot sakura chicken & sharks' fin soup.. and mind you.. i don't like drinking soup.. but this one was simply too savoury and delicious.. the waitresses were careful to advise us that this soup had been double boiled for 5.5 hours and that we should taste it in its original lustre.. aka without any vinegar and/or pepper... Brillient..
Next up... the Soon hock...by which of this time.. i was already 3/4 full... So anywayz.. Soon Hock steamed with deep fried conpoy..and prawnbits.. .simply fantastic.. The sauce... according to the waitress is based on their new recipe...biang.. i feel like VIP... first ever in Tung Lok!!!
Then came the bamboo claim with special (ikan bilis and olive leaves sauce) steamed with special glutinous rice.. wah.. this one..is heaven!!!!
Of cos.. there is the Big and Grand finale... my fav fav fav bestest dessert in the world... yam ice cream with Yam & Sago bits served in a young coconut's husk... and of cos.. my daily inscriptions by Tung Lok chef!!!!
I was glad that the 2 guys loved the food... but the farnie thing was.. they found the dessert the best dish as compared to the rest.. .DUH!!!!

dinner amongst other things!!!
Had very scrumptious dinner on friday night... went to this place at Liang Court called TAMPOPO!!! best ramen in the whole world... one try and you'll never wanna go back to the famous ramen franchise again... called aji***.
Here's some snapshots i took of the food... missed out the sotong dish... oops oops..sorry... not sotong..in japan.. they call'em Tako.... so nice!!! so QQ!!!
Went walking around... they actually have this vietnam coffee joint.. but we were too full from dinner to drink coffee.

dessert at Lot 1 plus Dempsey!!
Ate japanese dessert at Lot 1 on sunday... it was damn good... comparable to the one we had at central..
this one is less pricy and is a subsidiary of MOF (ministry of food) who happens to be our insured.
I had the black sesame ice cream, me sis had the strawberry one.. and then my mum took the green tea ice kachang... it was huge!!!!
will paste some photos here..too tired and too lazy now..
Went to dempsey this evening.. went to celebrate ah bel's bd at TKQ!!!! Long Beach at Dempsey is the best place to have sea food!!! i love it!!! had so much.. i think.. i will skip breakfast and considering to skip lunch tmr!!
After which we adjourned to Harry's for some drinks.. had tequila POP..didnt wanna drink too much as there is work tmr!!
At first.. i suggested to go this establishment which i've been to before called RAIN... sorta MONO liked theme with k rooms.. but it closed down... (taken over by Jumbo Seafood) no matter..we had a tad bit of fun ourselves without music!!!
The air con is finally gonna be installed tmr.. i waited so long..but did promise man friend that i'll go over tmr cos i have not been accompanying him... anywayz. .. will decide again tmr lah!!

rolling the tabacco
Last saturday.. i did something which would have made my then closer ex-colleague proud..He had labouriously tried to teach me how to roll for like the longest time...
I finally was able to roll a perfect coned shaped cigarette.. i fell so satisfied with myself..funny how small miniscule things remind you of someone sometimes..
