my ah lao so nice... he wash my blanket for me coz its very thick and very heavy..
But his mum scolded him for washing my blanket. His mum is saying that he's afraid me. what the fuck??
I'm so pissed off... hello.... somebody please tell her which century do we live in.

Yet another weekend gone.

Went to Oosters on Friday night with the gang. It was so fun.. we haven't been hanging out like this in a really long time.
The mussels were fantastic as usual... but i think the size of the fries shrunk.
Mere was supposedly allergic to mussels so she tried not to take too many.. we ordered other side dishes to share.
Have never been much of a beer person.. so didn't drink much lah.. had this hoe garden passion fruit beer than shared a pint of hoe garden with mere.. ok lah. .didn't really share... lah.. they drank most of it.. i'm really not a beer drinker lah... will upload some of the photos here... when i have them.
I brought my digi cam....it died.. i remembered charging it a few weeks ago..and i haven't used it since.. but the batt drained..supposedly. Anyway.. lets just hope that its really the batt and not my cam. I'm charging the batt now... ok..just tested... its really the batt.

Got back ah lao's house at about... 1 plus.. slept... i really very tired.. then i woke up... and went to meet marge... then mj started at around 6 plus in the evening.. and only ended at around 4 am the next morning.. went back to ah lao house and didn't get to sleep until about 5... woke up at around 2pm...and it was raining... very heavily... i went downstairs to buy lunch when the rain drizzled..

Then i went home to spend some time with my family.

Think i haven't been spending much time with him... i will try to spend more time with him this week. feel bad...

after lunch

Just came back from lunch!!! wha lau... damn full.. me and sis and hoon and tommy went to Sinma Seafood restaurant eat lunch!! so nice!!!!

I need to get to sleep really soon... Its already..0340.. and tmr is a workday
Had an impromptu mahjong session with Bel, Vincent & Collin at OCC this evening. I love OCC..simply coz their mj sets are automatic..
Hmmz...but somehows.. even though its supposed to speed up the game... we ended up only playing 2 games from 8pm to 1am.
After that we adjourned to Chong Pang Nasi Lemak for Supper.. oops.. wrong wrong wrong again. But then again i didn't take dinner at all. And i only had fish soup for lunch today.
I did the stupidest thing today.. i called my ex the afternoon by mistake thinking that it was my colleague Vincent.. crap. So embaressing.

H.I and Valkyrie

I failed my H.I paper.. this sux.. i've never failed any written exam in my whole life.. fucked up... Guess i shouldn't have just read through....
I told tommy i failed H.I.. he looked up from his computer screen and said.. wah lau.. why so fucked up one?? i shook my head.

Ah lao..knew i wasn't in a very good mood..so we went out.. had laksa (oh gawd...and i'm supposed to be on a diet).. and Indian rojak.. shucks..even worse.. then we went to watch Valkyrie..

To tell you the truth.. I wasn't very keen on watching that show.... but the other shows that were showing were all lovey dovey romantic comedies which will kill my ah lao.. so i obliged.. and surprisingly..i think i enjoyed it more than he did.

Very nice very nice..even though it was 2 solid hours of political talk. I need to start googling on this part of WWII already.. i didnt remember studying about this internal mutiny in History previously.

Mere woke up with big toothache.. she needs to go for a root canal later in the afternoon... sighz... must be very painful. Edy needed 3 root canals done.. even worse..so cheer up lah ... it'll be better tmr!!!!

long bus ride

In view of yellowsticker's entry.. i must say.. i really hate bus rides... especially if you're standing up and fat and wearing heels...
But.. we finally managed to get seats after the school stretch..and so...it was rather theraputic... lalala..

AXA hearts in action's back again.. Our company will contribute $0.50 for every heart that's folded.. sadly.. i didn't fold any.. i'm lazy.. now i feel guilty... but then again.. everyone on my floor don't seem to be giving a darn thought bout it.. but then again.. i should have been more pro-active... i guess.

Life After Elvis

Oh gawd.. he finally finally went back to China... I'm so happy I could cry..
I was so tired... it took me one entire weekend to recuparate...

Been having alot of luck at mahjong this new year.. hmmz.. that's good... won about $70 at marge's place on 5th of CNY. Won $130 at Elvis' house on 11th day of CNY and finally won $150 on 14th day of CNY. don't know if its coz of sister's HUAT HUAT ang pow...or becoz.. i've been sharing the games with those born in the year of the rabbit.. they say... this year.. rabbit and dog are the most ideal pair to share stakes when it comes to gambling. My ah lao is rabbit and i'm dog.. we shared to buy the $10 million toto draw... but until today.. i'm still slogging away at my desk.. haha... no luck over there..

And so.. i continue.. the emperor from China finally went back to his hole on friday... I went to work as usual and attended my once in a year.. division dinnet and yan ge restaurant.. the food's pretty decent and we didn't drink much.. or rather i didn't drink much.. coz i was too tired and i don't think very much of brandy.. which was all they have. The dinner started late but ended very soon. Before we knew it ... there was only one table left.. the drinking table.. I left at about 8.30pm...Collin sent me back to Yishun. Just when i was about done bathing and getting ready for bed with my book of the moment : Inkheart. My ah lao turned to me and said.. "you wanna go watch movie?" I muttered ok.. coz i really wanna watch underworld and i haven't been to the movies like in a long time.. and i really wanna spend some time with him..so we went ahead to catch the 11plus slot.. its quite good actually...

Saturday was spent pretty much at his place.. i slept through most of the day.. and only got up at bout 9plus in the evening... coz there wasn't any mahjong session at marge's house... went to 848 as usual..Come to think of it... i really miss 848... the wet malamine tables... plastic chairs... chilled beer & iced tea...even the cockroaches. hahahha...

Sunday was spent at ah khoo's house.. we had mahjong.. and i won.. hahahaha... $200.00..so happy... lalalala..

random stuff - time spent - one big commotion

Its the 8th day of the chinese new year.. and i'm now back at the office. It has been 9 days (including 2 weekends) since I've stepped into the office.. and i'm still trying to adjust to work. Nearly forgotten my log in password today.. I think i really need to paste the password under my keyboard in future. Had about 200 emails to clear... That's bad... But now..i just wanna blog.. not in the mood for work.
I hate to admit this.. but my not so newly done acrylic nails are really making typing a chore... and I really miss my short nails.. (paste nail picture here)
This year's CNY was a little played down... Elvis came back as usual... I really cannot remember where we went to each day..so i'm just gonna summarize. i really must take more photos..
We started out going to this pub at Keong Saik road called 1819. Nothing special.. just a small corner near the back door of the pub..which leads to the smoking area.
You usual public K pubs... and one pool table. Then we "upgraded" to this place at Cantonment Road called Le Bar.. Its really like a 3 storey pre-war shophouse turned into another usual k pub plus 1 pool table place.. except that they did up the 3rd storey into a private room. Minimum spending of $500.00 and you can have the whole room to yourself.. The decor of the room is really quite cosy... let's see... let me describe... ermz... black carpets with big black velvet couches... some in the shape of lips.. big big black velvet throw pillows.. one big bar counter ... private karaoke machine... 2 flat screen tvs.. and white wall paper with embossed black roses on it..also..big black chandeliers very St. James MONO...The first night i wasd there.. i sang until my throat turned sore... i really sang from 8pm to 4am... with nobody to hog mike with...
We went to Lunar for one night.. that wasn't quite enjoyable.. the whole place was so smoky... i know.. "hypocrite" i'm a smoker.. but really... imagine an air-conditioned room feeled with 20 over smokers puffing away... i swear... its so smoky.. u can't even see the person sitting opposite you.. By the time i came out.. i smelt like one huge cigarette!!!! No need to go Genting Highlands..
For most nights we hung out at Elvis' new crib at No. 10 Vanda Road. Though, not as big as the Victoria Park Road one.. but really chic enough. As usual.. 2 tables.. one for the guys to play their card games and drink their Macallans. Another table for the girls.. to.. ermz... what else chit chat.. ok ok ok ... gossip!!!
Most nights at Vanda Road were pretty boring.. we just sat around and discussed how tired we were to the point till we were too tired to speak.. hahahaha
Dinner was spent at.. hmmz... let's see... there was one night the gang went to the thai restaurant at goodwood park... and had shark's fin... i didn't go.. we went to this Teochew restaurant called Ah Hoi at Mosque Street... for some steamed fish... the steamed "Cong" fish aka promfret was going at $60.00 per fish...its crazy...
We also went to Long beach for dinner.. the crab was quite good.. but caused me a nail though!!! shit!!! When i went to the mani parlour near my place... meaning to get a new nail... they quoted me $18. For one stupid nail... NO SHIT!!!
We also went to Geylang Lorong 36 for turtle soup.. NO thank you very much!!!!
There were nights where we had bbq food at elvis's place.. As usual.. my ah boon was doing all the bbq-ing... but the food was good.!!!
Some nights the maids cooked... but super spicy.. i nearly died!!!
All in all to date... they cleared 65 bottles of Macallans... This is crazy.. and still counting..
