The one with the retro theme and the green dress...

I felt so out of touched with this world not having full internet access for the whole weekend.
I thought i could just unwind and not have a care in this world for the past 2 days.. soaking in my own serenity and not having to be "connected" to the world..but alas... it wasn't possible... i was still wired up to wireless@sg... occasionally giving facebook a little peep..and busy googling for "hungry go where". I seriously think that i will not survive without the net..

So anyway.... me and man-friend decided to do a short little getaway... went to this really retro themed boutique hotel called Re! hotel... bestest of the best!!!

Already.. i can write 2 long paragraphs about the toilet~~~... but i shall not waste everybody's time. To put it in short... the bathroom was tiled head to toe with pink/purple/lilac squared mini tiles... and the bathtub was fantastic.. i soaked in it for hours.. *wolf whistle*

Everything about the hotel was neat/clean and white... they had really heavy bathrobes to keep you warm.. Since man-friend's house does not have an air-con.. and my air-con has been sick for like the longest time.. we enjoyed ourselves by lying in bed watching cable tv and turning on the air-con full blast... of cos.... there was the occasional stick of cigarette in the toilet too!!! lalala.. overall.. i would give Hotel Re! 8/10... 2 marks off cos its a non-smoking hotel!!! *shucks*... my boss was right.. singaporeans or rather Singapore treat smokers like they are infectious diseased creatures...

man-friend and i haven't spent time together in a really long time... on the first night when we were there.. that is after lying in bed and watching cable tv and enjoying the 16 degrees Celsius air-con..we decided to go back to chinatown for dinner (we had lunch at chinatown too)...went to the chinatown hawker centre for cheap dinner..and then i swear..we walked the whole of chinatown... really!!! there was one point when i walked past buddha tooth temple..which is like freaking near my office.. it was a little scary.. and the weather was really damn hot!!! Of cos.. we ate and walked along the way... halfway through.. i actually bought the durian crepe thingy.. that was simply delicious.. the crepe was piping hot.. while the durian puree (i think it was all durian) was freezing cold... gawd..it was heaven...

Don't ask me why.. but i didn't take any pictures.. during out trip... think i was too lazy.. my sister thinks i was being stupid... but i guess.. i have everything that i need to remember in my memory!!!

how ironic

How ironic our lives can be... how one person meets another at certain points in their lives.. crossing paths and probably... starting new chapters together... no matter.. as friends... lovers... companions...
How some chapters stop... how some chapters move on to newer and better ones...
I was sitting at McDonald's yesterday... i sat there and held a girl's hand for more than 7 hours... She had just gotten married last october and is now filing for a divorce... as she sat their pouring out her heart and soul to me.. i could see... just across from me... a wedding ceremony.. held... i the community centre's grand hall.. how ironic.. the union of one... together with a fullstop of another... at this particular time... marge messaged me... she said that it was Alice's ROM today... i felt so happy for her..yet set for my other gerfriend.. How ironic... Leaves..me thinking.. is there really happily every after.??!?!?

I was watching The curious case of Benjamin Button the other day.. I must say..the show..left me dumbfounded... it was brillient..coupled by the fact that Brad Pitt is... even after all these years... still as delcious.. and Fuckable.. haha...
That show left me thinking alot about life too...*ponders*

I finally got to eat Botak Jones today... it was big.... and it was yummy...this was what i ate...

i feel tired and shagged... stretched... like too little butter spread across too much bread!!!
I need to clear my thoughts and discover what i really want in life!!! hmmmz....

I also need some entertainment ... i'm so bored... i don't know what to do...

The hulk is playing now on channel 5... i vaguely remember watching it on some pirated DVD that wasn't so clear!!! I do remember watching the 2nd sequel with ah lao though~~~~..

WHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE... there goes the hulk jumping high into the sky..wish i could do that too...

Mummy cooked fish soup today... so happy!!! my FAV.... sister is not home.. she went to watch a movie... why is it that everytime i come home early... she is not at home.. NO FUN!!!! i and her no fate...

She asked me to d/l one new song by "The Fray" called never say never.. i just heard it on my cuz's blog.. interesting..really quite nice.. i shall go d/l it laterz..

ok...off for dinner now!!! and then i'll think about what to wear to work tmr!!!

HI paper and a few other random things

I finally passed my HI paper... Not too bad.. considering that this is my 2nd attempt.. I have to admit... i only started studying last night... i swear... i really very heng!!
Was really upset last night with ah lao.. i don't know what is happening... sighz... i'm really very tired.. maybe its really not meant to be.. i really hate myself for typing this.. i'm so upset... i've given up so much for this relationship.. but i'm really so tired... i just don't wanna care already... but there's a part of me that can't let go... i just can't...
maybe... i've already been upset with him for a long time..its just that what happened yesterday... really did it...
I can't anybody..cos all they will do is tell me that he was never right for me in the first place... even if they don't tell me... they will give me that "i told u so" look
i need to sleep... i really don't wanna think about it... anymore!!!

Haven't blogged in the past 2 weeks... didn't have time to gather my thoughts!!!
Went of company's dinner and dance on 24th of April.. It was quite fun...but it was a pity that we didn't win best dressed table this year... oh well.. we've won every year..so i guess its time for a retirement... but i guess everyone was disappointed coz we really bothered to dress up..and the guys had paint all over their faces... by the way... in case you have not guessed.. yes.. we went as red indians... but we lost to the other table who dressed up as north indians... even though we didn't win... we were given consolation prizes... can u believe it... $50 for the whole table... as compared to the first prize $500/table.. we felt a lil short changed lah... $50?!?!?!?! my gawd... i cannot imagine... what can we do with $5/pax...drink coffee?!?!?! haha...

The week after dinner and dance... nothing much happened...all of us went to a staff briefing though... they announced that we can now dress down for fridays... not that people are not dressed down on Fridays already..but then again..now that it is official.. i think.. all of us can't dress that casually on Mondays to Thursdays anymore...!!!

It was a long weekend this week.... marge brought us to Oosters at Suntec on thursday for dinner.. it was fun... but sadly.. the portions are getting smaller each time we dine there... the manager explained that the mussels were getting bigger therefore the portion looked smaller.. I say..BULLSHIT... think...we're never going to go there again... and its not even cheap loh!!! after that went to Jon's house for awhile..watch sis and the rest play mahjong...quite fun... went back to bebe's place.. and he was not even asleep yet!!! we stayed up the most of the night...talking... we just received some not so good news from China... sighz... can't be much of a help too!!! and so we talked...till about 4am... then went to sleep...
Woke up at around noon the next day... so happy that it was only a Friday... hahaha... went over to margaret's place... for some healthy mahjong...lost about $30 ... ok lah.... at least i enjoyed myself... go out also spend money..ma as well try some mahjong maybe will win... hhehehe

Got back to bebe's place at aorund midnight... he just got home too... he quite cute... when i opened... the room door.. he waved at me..and say HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII...then he hugged me... hahaha.. was quite touched lah...cos...long time never like that liao mah!!!

Saturday... went to mandai crematorium to pay respects to my maternal grandma... her 1 year death anniversary... then went home to nap for a bit... then bebe came to pick me up and we went to yishun for some supper and beer.... decided to watch...
Friday the 13th last minute so went to catch the 1250 show... so scary... the guys were so noisy..cos they were erbit high on alcohol..heng my ah lao not like that... heng ah!!!!

Sunday...we went to meet them again... and had some late lunch at northpoint... then we hung out at ah khoo's place and watched ironman... i think.. robert downey jr is so damn cute!!! after that we went to eat crab and bukit timah.... it was a huge dissapointment... so now i'm home... and i really think i should sleep early...cos i need to be in the office by 0845 tmr... sighz..
