Dinner with Jacqueline and Garnet

Today was fun!!! Had dinner with Jacque and Garnet.. Somehow, we always end up talking about men and sex!!! Lup sup leh!!! Hahahaha!! Imperial treasure steamboat.. It's the best steamboat i have ever eaten to date!!
We managed to walk into OG after dinner with Rod... Dun even get me started on the jokes we cracked in the underwear section... For MEN!!!!
Ah.. Good laughs.. Good times!!! It truly is worth living for!!!

The ins and outs

I simply cannot believe that I'm sitting here at my table with nothing to do! It has been like this for the entire day. So much for a public holiday! I had half a mind to go re-pack my wardrobe..which incidentally is bursting at the seam.. But I thought...nah.. Maybe next week.. I was afraid that I didn't have the determination and the patience to follow it through. Oh well...

Went shopping after work on Monday.. Hmmm.. IPad case hunting was more like it.. Didn't get anything for myself though... Hmm... It's time for dome retail therapy very soon!!!!

I just spent $1.99 USD on this new app. Hopefully it doesn't fail me. Also, with this new app, I hope to be able to blog about my life more!!! Hmmmm.... I wonder if there is a possibility for me to upload photos here!!!

These days... Been super busy revamping my department... 3 resignations... I tot I was going to die... Seriously I was this close to admitting defeat.. But everything seems to be looking up... *crosses fingers & toes*
New colleagues.. New and fresh ideas!!! Here's hoping everything turns out fine and dandy!!!

Finally.. I got my ipad2.. I got lucky with this one! Initially, had wanted to get ipad2 at apple authorized dealers at a whopping price of $978.. Then after that, still have to go telco service provider, in my case, singtel, to subscribe a data plan for $38/mth!!! Heng... My reservation didn't come through and frankly was too lazy to queue up on launch date so I sat this one out..
Didn't expect singtel to have a tie up with apple!!! I was able to get the exact ipad2 that I wanted... 32gb Wifi plus 3G at $499 with a 2 year contract on the data plan for $40/mth.. Worth it right?? Check this out.. No fuss no hassle.. Simply made an appt over singtel website.. Turned up at MBS convention centre and collect!!! My ipad2... In white for that matter!!!! I dun think I would be needing any other forms of entertainment for the next 2 months.. Except...hehe..maybe for mahjong of cos!

And... Because I had time to play around with the apps last night till er...this morning.. I found this amazing video app that's able to play all video formats.. Say bye bye to converting files for compatibility with iPad.. Ladies and gents... May I introduce.. The app. Called video HD.. At a one. Time price of $2.99 USD.. Very darn worth it.. If you ask me..

My beauty Secrets

Just the other day, i was talking on the phone with boon heng.. he asked me... why do i take such such long hours getting ready for bed.. i paused for a split second.. hmm.. i couldn't give him a satisfactory answer!!! *scratches head*
Here's me... home after a hard day's work!!!

Sometimes, i get so tired mentally... i look like i might have lost a few screws on the way back home..
Alot of my gerfriends assume that i'll naturally take a long time in the shower.. but the thing is... i don't...
My routine in the shower consists mainly of shampooing, conditioning and body lathering with soap... probably takes less than 10 mins.. I do do the occasional scrub or the exfoliating of dead skin cells on the soles of my feet.. but i usually do it over the weekends when i have more time on my hands..
Currently.. i'm using this...
Recently i realised that i've been dropping a lot of hair and my hair turns oily reallie easily... i bathe every morning before i step out of the house.. but always finds that my hair turns oily in the evenings.. it is very frustrating as oily hair makes a person lookrather dirty and unkempt... its worse when you have somewhere to go to after work.. which is always the case for me. Plus having fine hair is not a good combination also. My hairstylist keeps telling me that i do not have little hair.. i just have fine hair..which gives the false impression that i have little hair.. but still.. i've been dropping hair by the bunches.. so it was a little worrying when i saw a slight bald spot caused by my oily scalp. Yikes... I've tried many brands of shampoo.. including the new Shiseido Tsubaki shampoo...which turned out to be a big disappointment.. it was ok during the first few days.. and then it all went downhill from there..I dun know why people actually bring these back from Japan by the dozens when it wasn't available in Singapore.. I'm using SILKPRO hair thinning treatment series... the purple one... *for oily hair* so far so good... For conditioner... i'm using the kami ichi conditioner from Japan.. Not bad.. its got a rich texture and is smooth upon application.. apparently.. its very nourishing for the hair as they use black rice as their main ingredient..
For body wash.. i'm using this korean brand called shower mate.. introduced by my friend.. i think...only available in those stores similar to beauty language.. wah lau.. the fragrance is damn nice lah.. olive and green tea.. and its reallie moisturizing.. It makes me feel and smell damn good lah afterwards...
After shower.. i wrap my hair up... and proceed to my sink for some dental care... recently...i sot tio ora 2.. new dental care from japan... they have the toothpaste and the mouthwash...and also they have the tooth polish which i use once a week.. for that extra sheen and shine.. boh bian... i'm a coffee drinker and i think...all the smoking has taken its toll on the colour of my teeth.. go try ora 2... its realli good and not expensive. Available exclusively @ watsons.. When i went to get it the other night.. it was all nearly sold out... wah lau...

After dental care... is the skincare.. oh boy..here we go!!!!
The other day.. i was at watsons.. and i went crazy on face masks... i was running out of my beauty diary masks and the love.more masks series..so popular now... so i got the whole set...hehe..

So far.. i have tried the australia agar agar lifting mask... not bad... makes skin reallie supple... Last night i tried the japan toumalin and camellia whitening mask... also quite good... each mask is packed individually... like an envelope...

and i really like that the mask is found right at the bottom of the packet... it makes it a lot easier to open from the top...
For My beauty diary masks... sometimes.. very difficult to open.. because when you tear the packet up from the top.. the mask sometimes obstructs you from making a clean tear...
I also went to buy this eye mask by japanese brand.. Kracie... not bad.. gel like... but 4 pairs for 12.90... so expensive.. can only use once a week bah...

Then comes my lancome genefique and my dior skincare..full whitening range.. i shall spare u the boring details.. basically..takes me about 20 mins.. to slap on all my toner..serum... and moisturizer.. after my 20 min masks... so therapeutic.. i just love it...

After skin care, when my hair is still damp.. i will spray this hair tonic introduced by my mum.. its japanese.. smells really orangey and tangy... its non oily formula helps to stimulate hair growth and prevents hair fall...leaves my hair smelling reallie good and makes my hair feel reallie lightweight and airy...

Followed by... my vichy cellluite cream to fight the stubborn fats... and also my fav body cream.. before i go to bed...
I've got quit a few body cream.. but currently these 2 are my favourite..


so.. here i am.. all ready for bed.. hehehehe...
